Description:

Waverazor is a realtime, commercial, cross-platform software sound synthesizer plug-in by MOK, which has also been successfully tested for 64-bit Ubuntu-type linux distros. The demo version, available at Tracktion.com (see link below) allows full Waverazor functionality for 30 days once installed, and requires that you enter your log-in email address and password (necessary to download the tarball) in order to register and activate the instrument. This is done by clicking on the gear icon in the upper righthand area of the GUI.

The first item that the user will probably notice when opening Waverazor is the oscilloscope in the middle of the GUI. This oscilloscope allows to see the editing of the current waveform, with freeze and zoom control. Waverazor provides three oscillators and three filters that can be arranged in series or parallel. There are also three discrete FX sends/returns. There are two vector controllers for X- and Y-axis modulation and animation.

Waverazor also includes a wave sequencer and arpeggiator and is fully MIDI-assignable. A useful manual is available by clicking the question mark, while the exclamation mark serves to send note-offs to all active notes.
